Beyond the Batik

Turn one of our beautiful 18" Batik Art Panels (paintings)into a wonderful wall hanging. Instructions for this pattern are given for paper piecing. If you prefer not to paper piece, 1/4" seam allowances can be added to each pattern piece and tradional piecing can be used. Finished size 34"x34"

Gummie Dots

Bradley and Judy Niemeyer designed the foundation pieces and layout for Gummie Dots. A collection of bright children fabrics were used to create the setting for the blocks in this quilt. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units. Curved piecing and traditional piecing are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed. Finished size:70"x70"
